Provinces: Silk

The silk province is a fairly easy province for both humans and elves. your enemy consists of mostly of light melee and heavy ranged units with an ocassional enchantress as the counter unit
Important message for autobattle users!!!: The AI does not work well with the cerberus when it comes to attacking the enchantresses, only light ranged units are in autobattle mode usuable to counter the enchantress as they alway attack her if she is in range. so cerberus can only be used as a counter to the enchantress when using manual mode.
According to innogames this should now be fixed and the cerberus will attack mage units first again.

The trees are stong my lord.

The treants are the main unit that you will use at this province, where the sorceress will be your biggest enemy.
At almost all battles you will splash in either the Archer / Ranger or the Cerberus to deal with the "single/double" enemy sorceress. When you meet the more difficult rounds opt for not battling any fights with 2 or more sorceress in the enemy squad. Negotiations would be the preferred option to solve the encounter.

Your first option is to deal with the enemy sorceres, send out your cerberus or archer/ranger to deal with the sorceress(es) in round one. The cerberus has it high defence and hugh damage towards mages as it's main advantage, it also neutral agains the enemy cerberus unlike the archer/ranger.
The archer/ranger has the advantage that in autobattle mode they always try to attack the enemy enchantress, where the cerberus will try to kill the steinleing instead. Especially the ranger is good since it's extra move helps a lot to avoid terrain and still attack the enemy sorceress and the few that might survive will most likely be killed by it's strike back power. the archer on the other hand is aviable to all players, can be aquired for free from the Shrine of the Shrewdy Shrooms

If you encounter multiple enemy sorceress and 1-2 cerberus units you can battle it out with either 5 squads of cerberus or sword dancer units.
The Cerberus will be in vitually all cases be the "best" unit to solve the encounter but since it's production is often a lot slower then your sword dancers, and since some of you get the sword dancers for free from the Dwarven Bulwark using them as expendables can be a cheap alternative.

Be aware that units you splash in to deal with the sorceres are in general "lost" as they are sacrificed to keep your treants safe. this is especially true for the qrcher/ranger units you are forced to use on the autobattle mode.

Feel free to experiment to see how it will best work for you.

Your first option is to deal with the enemy sorceres, send out your cerberus or crossbowmen/ranger to deal with the sorceress(es) in round one. The cerberus has it high defence and hugh damage towards mages as it's main advantage, it also neutral agains the enemy cerberus unlike the crossbowmen/ranger. but it's slow and can only attack after the enemy sorceress has enganged in combat

The crossbowmen/ranger has the advantage that in autobattle mode they always try to attack the enemy enchantress, where the cerberus will try to kill the steinleing instead. Especially the ranger is good since it's extra move helps a lot to avoid terrain and still attack the enemy sorceress and the few that might survive will most likely be killed by it's strike back power it's far superior to the crossbowmen in any way. the crossbowmen on the other hand is aviable to all players, can be aquired for free from the Shrine of the Shrewdy Shrooms
Since it's in general a 1 shot "sacrifice" deal, the crossbowmen are far worse then the Ranger or the Cerberus.
